STEM CAMP
NEW! STEM CAMP For Young Adults, Ages 12-18
Join us for a combination Science-History-Art Two-Day Workshop!
Learn about and take part in the natural dye process, from raw material to discussion of uses for finished products, including information on foraging natural materials and their effects, preparing fiber for dyeing, and the process of dyeing. Participants will take home their own dyed skeins (no flat cloth, we are dyeing yarn). All materials provided.
Please note, participants will work around heating elements and boiling water and are responsible for their own safety.

Participants will attend TWO DAYS when they sign up for the workshop.
- Day 1: History of dyeing + prepare mordant and colorants.
- Day 2: Dyeing skeins and drying them.
June 20 -21, Tuesday & Wednesday
Each day will be 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. with a late morning break.
This camp takes place at Centennial Village, Brown County Fairgrounds.
Two-day session is capped at 12 participants.
