Are you headed to college? Apply for our Foundation Scholarship and you could be awarded $500.

The Dacotah Prairie Museum Foundation Scholarship is open to all Brown County, S.D. students who plan to attend any technical, 2-year or 4-year accredited post-secondary school in South Dakota.

Include the following required materials with your application submission:

  1. 400-500 word essay
  2. Transcript with GPA of 3.0 or higher
  3. Recommendation letters (2), from one teacher and one community member

Checks will be sent to the post-secondary school listed for the applicant at the beginning of the academic school year. Applications are due March 1 with award announcements made May 1 of each year. Award amount: $500.
