Guided Tours

Guided tours are available year-round by appointment. After-hour tours may be arranged if enough prior notice is given. If interested, contact the Museum by phone 605.626.7117 or email dacotahprairiemuseum@gmail.com. Please note the name of your group, the date, and time requested, the number of guests in your party, any special needs, and a contact name and number.

Self-Guided Tours

Walk-in visitors are always welcome during regular Museum hours. An informational “Self-Guided Tour” pamphlet is available near the front desk for your reference. Browse through the exhibits on your own, and enjoy the history of Brown County.
